About Sheila Atchley

I'm Sheila Atchley -

A Knoxville-area visual artist, author, and pastor's wife.  I'm a celebrant, a congregant, and a flagrant creative.

I have a semi-empty nest, and four adorable grands.

Words are my defining passion and a big part of my art form.  I decorate my world with them.  I am dedicated to helping women live artful, soulful, well-designed lives, in the context of the grace of God.

One of my passions is the middle age woman.  This beautiful season of life is under-celebrated and under-valued.  Middle aged women do not get enough support, by and large.  I aim to change this trend in my personal life, in my art, and in my writing and speaking ministry.  After all, if we encourage the women, we encourage the world.

Sit down, relax, overlook my hair, and let's talk about the things that really matter, and laugh about the things that really don't.

If you have any questions about commissioning a piece of your own original art,  or you need client references for my art classes and/or speaking ministry, or if you would like to schedule me to speak at your next live event, feel free to contact me (click on the email link below):
